Hello You,
Today is a black and tan winter day. I am wearing a giant Diesel label chunky knit scarf that I got several years ago at Ross Dress For Less plus my Chloe knock-off crossover bag. I love it. I wear it and these Sorel Medina boots every every day. Not to mention my vintage made in Taiwan-vintage practically bullet proof canvas hooded raincoat--did I say that in one breath?(.... click here to read more....)
Truth be told, I did not even run my fingers or a comb through my hair today. My hair has grown practically to the floor so by necessity it has become low maintenance. You can read the post that I wrote about how to have and care for long hair here.
I sort of don't know where I am going with this blog except that I am going. I have been listening to a lot of podcasts lately (I'll do post A Top Ten or my favorite podcasts later and link to it here) and everyone everyone everyone says start, just start, don't need to have a plan, don't know necessarily where you are headed, where this is headed, etc.
Honestly, I have such an overwhelming sense of failure hanging over me for lots of reasons. Not the least of which is that I already had a blog that I quit and then foolishly dumped along with its Gmail address and along with a RewardStyle account which was just dumb. Failure because my Etsy shop has never taken off in eight years. Failure because of the loss of all my artwork 15 years ago. And some other things that are just too personal to share public unless veiled with cryptic poetry speak.
So, I'm just trying to overlook all of that and move forward anyway. I set up an Amazon Affiliate account, I am working on my Instagram account, I have a goal of self-publishing an e-Book on Kindle and self-publishing on Amazon this year. I totally need to set up a website this year. So, I will share my journey here with you on this blog. And that is a billet-doux. It's french for sweet letters. Letters that were saved and wrapped in a ribbon and stored away in a safe place. I'll share my journey as a creative artist, my journey as a creative entrepreneur, my journey as an intellectual explorer, my human journey on this road towards perfection. Perfection is a process. I hope to see you again.
Talk later,
Danielle Celeste
